We’re About The Little People…
OUR PRACTITIONERS
Our dedicated staff team are fully qualified from degree level to HNC or SVQ3 or working toward their qualification.
All staff are vetted through Disclosure Scotland and Protection of Vulnerable Groups and are registered with Scottish Social Services Council.
From parent’s feedback we know that our staff are welcoming and work with parents and families to support children as they play and learn in a nurturing safe environment.
ACTIVE LEARNING
We believe that children learn best through play. We provide a wide variety of experiences and learning opportunities that actively engage children in their learning to develop skill, knowledge and relationships.
Children learn at their own pace and have the opportunity to explore, test their ideas, practice their skills and recognise their achievements.
PARENTS WELCOME
We recognise that parents are the first educators of their child and we work closely with parents, carers and families to ensure we develop positive working relationships.
Within the nursery we regularly hold parent events to give parents and carers the opportunity to share children’s learning experiences. Parents have the opportunity to be involved in the service through our Board of Directors and our Parent’s Representatives group.
REGULAR EVENTS
A very important event on our calendar is our Annual General Meeting which is held in March each year. As we are a registered charity we are legally obliged to hold an A.G.M.
Parents are invited every year to come along and hear what has been happening within the service, meet with other parents and express their views on the agenda.
